Hi, my name is Otis. I'm an energetic puppy who loves everyone. I'm crate trained and doing great. I act like a pretty typical puppy and we are working on my manners such as jumping up and chewing on things I shouldn't be. I really like flip flops but I also enjoy dog toys and bones. As long as I have my own things to chew on I am just fine. I'm having a blast with my foster family but I'd really like a family of my own. Do you want to be my furever family?
Foster Update: Otis is wonderful. He is such a well behaved little guy. I had a party that consisted of about 20 people, ranging in age from 5mos to 64 years old, and Otis was so well behaved. The house was quite crowded and over run with teenagers. Otis didn't bark or jump up on anyone who came in the house. He just walked over to say hello and then spent the day just hanging around. He played wonderfully with my 3 year old nephew. He seemed to know to tone it down for him. Because of his strength, he shouldn't be left alone with small children, but being supervised he did great and was so gentle. I also have small kittens that Otis tries to play with. When they are sitting on the dining room chairs, he just goes over and sits his head on the chair and the kittens jump on his head and bop at his ears. He isn't bothered by this at all. He is just so mellow and so sweet all the time. He is doing great with house breaking; he goes over to the door to let us know he has to go out. Otis would be a wonderful addition to your family!!!
New Update: Otis recently stayed with another ACDC foster while I was on vacation. He walked into the house and acted as if he had always lived there. He immediately became best buds with her foster pup. He also was very good with her mobility compromised cats. He didn't have any seperation issues while he was there. He behaved just as well as he does with me. Also, Otis has been introduced to a 6 week old puppy. He lays on the ground and lets her jump all over him and nip at his face, ears and legs. He plays very nicely with her and doesn't get rough or growl at her. He is so mild mannered it is just amazing to see them play.
