Wait until you hear what I’ve gone through the past few months! First, I was dumped outside and hopped around Morton (PA) for about a month. The nice neighbors would feed me but I was scared and lonely. It’s a miracle I wasn’t killed. One day a nice police officer took me to a woman he knows who is involved with animal rescue. She didn’t know anything about rabbits but she took me in until ACDC had a foster home available.
I was so happy to be in a safe, loving foster home. But I developed a problem with my eye and had to have eye surgery. The vet thought I may lose my eye but I didn’t and my eye is now fine.
My foster mom was new to rabbit fostering and she adored me. She thought it was “a pleasure” taking care of me. She laughed at all the cute things I did like my bunny flops and binkies (happy bunny dance). She says I reminded her of a toddler and that I’m a lot of fun.
Finally I was adopted! However less than a week after I was adopted, the daughter of the woman who adopted me moved into the home as she was getting a divorce. She brought her dog with her and the dog tried to kill me. So after only three weeks of what I thought was my “furever” home, I returned to foster care. Unfortunately my original foster mom is in the process of moving and can’t foster right now. Luckily ACDC found another kind woman to foster me.
Most bunnies would be very stressed by all these changes. Not me. I’m taking everything in stride. I would describe myself as a happy bunny. I am curious and I love it when people pet me. When people come into my pen I present myself for petting. I especially like to have my head rubbed.
I get very excited when I come out of my pen because I love to run around. I act more like a puppy than a bunny. I love my toys and I enjoy playing with humans. Do you think you’d enjoy playing with me and making me part of your family? I want so much for my next home to be for keeps.
