Ginny - cute, sweet Beagle/Pointer mix, undergoing treatment for heartworm 1/2010
Meet Ginny-She needs Your Help:
Ginny is a very sweet, docile beagle/pointer mix. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in rural Virginia, where she was turned in-probably because she's too sweet to be a good hunting dog! Once we received her and took her to the vet, it was discovered that she had heartworm and Lyme disease. Heartworm infestation, if left untreated, is always fatal. Although we caught the heartworm infestation in the early stages, her treatment will be several months long-and the medicine she will be taking is very costly. Any help you or your friends can provide in form of sponsorships or donations would be greatly appreciated. Once she has finished her treatment, she will be spayed and made available for adoption.

Lost An Animal? Found An Animal?
If you have lost your pet, you Should Report the incident immediately to
the Delaware County SPCA 610-566-1370 or your local SPCA/Animal Control.
If you have found a stray, we urge you to bring it to your local SPCA to see if they can match it up with their lost pet files and return it to its owner. Nearly all SPCAs & veterinarians have microchip scanners and they can scan to see if the animal is chipped-and that will display the owner's name & contact information.
